Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader in the Indian political landscape and a Member of the Lok Sabha, has displayed a diversified approach to his investments, as per the affidavit he filed while contesting in the Wayanad constituency in Kerala. His investment portfolio encompasses various asset classes such as real estate, equities, mutual funds, gold, and debt instruments.

A significant portion of Gandhi's assets, approximately 55 percent, is allocated to real estate. However, he also demonstrates a substantial interest in equities, with 32 percent of his investments allocated to stocks. His stock portfolio includes well-established companies like ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, ITC Ltd, and others. Moreover, he has invested in mutual funds, holding seven schemes which contribute to about 47 percent of his wealth invested in stocks and mutual funds combined.

In terms of debt exposure, Gandhi has allocated funds to Public Provident Fund (PPF) and debt-oriented hybrid schemes. Additionally, he has invested in gold through Sovereign Gold Bonds and physical gold jewelry.

Gandhi's preference seems to lean towards specific fund houses, with a notable portion of his mutual fund investments allocated to HDFC Mutual Fund and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

Despite having investments in real estate, which is a common trend among Indian politicians, Gandhi's asset allocation appears to be well-diversified between financial and physical assets. Approximately 45 percent of his investments are in financial assets, with the remainder in real estate.

Rahul Gandhi's investment strategy reflects a balanced approach with diversification across various asset classes, indicating a prudent stance towards wealth management.
